Readers will have heard with great regret of the death of Preb. George W. Saunders, formerly Vicar of Martock and Treasurer of Wells Cathedral. He had served with great distinction as Editor for Somerset from 1917 until 1953 and continued as a member of the Editorial Committee until last year. His devoted service to this journal will long be appreciated and remembered.
