Thanks to Windrose Rural Media Trust, Great Western Railway (GWR) passengers can now while away their journey watching archive film footage of stops along the GWR line.
Inspired by Great Western Approaches, a GWR publicity film released in 1936, Windrose Rural Media Trust has created, with the support of GWR’s Customer and Community Improvement Fund, short films of stops on the line using archive footage dating back to the 1900s.
The films can be viewed using the Great Western Approaches Revisited QR code displayed at stations and also via Great Western Approaches Revisited.
