- ‘A Royal Duke at Bruton’ by Robert W. Dunning. Reveals evidence that in 1682 Charles Fitzroy, Duke of Southampton, lived at Bruton.
- ‘Some member of the Bysse family in the 16th century: Part 2, Stoke St Michael members’ by Colin J. Brett.
- ‘Black History: John London and Blandford Forum’ by Judith Ford. Uncovers the story behind the marriage at Blandford Forum of a ‘black drummer’ from South Carolina.
- ‘ “The man is off and the shop I hear must be ruin’d”: reflections on the trial of Jane Leigh Perrot’ by David Pugsley. What the trial of Jane Austen’s aunt, who in 1800 was prosecuted for shoplifting at Bath, reveals about a haberdasher’s store at no.1 Bath Street in Bath.
- ‘Visitation of Dorset by Bishop Jonathan Trelawny, 1686′ by Joseph Bettey. In the year following the Monmouth Rebellion and Judge Jefferies’ Bloody Assizes, Bishop Trelawny visited Dorset and delivered an address at Cerne Abbas to the Dorset clergy condemning them for their neglect of parochial duties.
- ‘Another Notes & Queries publication’ by Adrian J. Webb. Looks at the ‘West of England Notes & Queries’ published in 1894 in The Great Western Magazine, with reference to the artist Walter Rossiter of Bath.
- ‘Sir Giles Strangway’s preparation for an expedition’ by Andy Poore. A previously undiscovered document at Melbury House reveals Sir Giles Strangway’s preparations to join Henry VIII on an expedition to France in 1514.
- ‘A mis-recorded Tudor lead dispute on Mendip’ by Colin J. Brett. A case heard in the Star Chamber in March 1581 involving four men from Peglinch.
