To launch our new feature – Spotlight on SDNQ – highlighting the wide range of source material available in past issues of SDNQ, we look at the wealth of material contained in the journal about Christmas traditions in Somerset and Dorset.
In our first Spotlight on SDNQ we focus on the traditions surrounding Old Christmas Day, Christmas Mummers and the Dorset Ooser, Christmas folk carols, Christmas feasts and charitable giving.
